Described by The Bradt guide to Mozambique as “by far the nicest place to stay in the vicinity of Nacala….”, this boutique lodge is situated in 1.1 hectares of land, close to Nacala airport (2km) and Nacala seaport (20km). It has a prime beachfront location.
Nacala, also known as Cidade de Nacala or Nacala-Porto is a city on the northern coast of Mozambique. Located in the southwestern indentation of inner Fernao Veloso Bay, it is the deepest natural port on the east coast of Africa. Nacala also serves as the terminal for the Northern Development Corridor, a rail link to the landlocked Malawi.
South of Nacala is Mozambique Island, at one time the capital of Mozambique and now a World Heritage site and prime tourist attraction. The quality of the accommodation is superior to the local competition and the restaurant in very popular with non-resident guests.
The lodge comprises of 6 houses, restaurant block with a swimming pool, along with an owner’s home, with plenty of space to expand. The property has 11,535m2 of land size with private access to the beach.
